• EXTRA CREDIT: attempted to install htmlSelector() function, but it doesn't seem to be working (not part of the design, in any case).

• MAIN ASSIGNMENT: Finished creating test_Cartoons2010 table on phpMinAdmin for Zephir (SQL file here), integrated with my header and footer in page first_data5.php.

• EXTRA CREDIT: Created additional database and table test_Cartoons2009 on phpMyAdmin for my alternate server, Pair.com (SQL file here), created additional php page here.

Assignment #7

TIME SPENT --

• 4 hours installing nmCommon files and integrating them with my custom theme, as demonstrated on model_mysql.php.

TASKS ACHIEVED --

• Installed nmCommon "sprockets" directory (changed to "cartoons", as I think the final project will get me started on a redesign for my freelance cartoon site), and integrated with the header and footer include files and CSS for my custom theme (called "abell").


• All pages added to Construction Page and Page Description spreadsheet.

PROBLEMS --

• The dynamic copyright line in my footer is still not showing up where it's supposed to on the model pages, but for some reason it comes up fine on the error_test page and the contact page. I need to figure this out...


• Will install phpDocumentor shortly for extra credit...

Assign #6 still in progress

I'm having a little trouble with Assign #6, will ask for extra help this week and submit for regrade when done...

Specifically, I have access to and can create tables on phpMinAdmin on Zephir and phpMyAdmin on Pair.com (my alternate web server), but I'm not sure yet how to give it the look and feel of my site nor how to link to the SQL file used to create the table and insert the data...
